Return Of The High Gravity Male
This is something that I’ve been wanting to write about for some time now… and in fact, I’ve had bits and pieces of this rolling around my head for the last few months, just waiting for an opportunity to chime in on what I feel is one of the most important concepts… as a man… you should wrap your mind around.
And that concept… is… “GRAVITY“…
(and yes – I’m coining a new term here when I talk about ‘gravity’… and how it relates to your success in life)
For all practical purposes, “gravity” is the amount of “pull” or “core influence” a person has on his or her peers.
Quite frankly, it’s a measure of power and ultimately comes down to not only IF you can get people to do what you want them to do, but at what magnitude.
Some may confuse this with “status”… but I assure you, “gravity” and “status” are not the same.
You can have a lot of status, yet people ignore you when it’s time to influence them to do what you want done. For example, celebrities have “status”, but only a few get the endorsement deals due to the amount of perceived “pull” that person has with the core demographic that the marketing group is targeting.
Also, make no mistake. “Gravity” is not a selfish measurement… and in fact, men with high gravity tend to be quite unselfish in their behavior – looking out for people, doing high level favors, etc.
“Gravity” just IS.
And why would I bring this up right now – and more importantly, why would you even be interested in the concept?
Well, as you know, one of the core fundamentals of Adonis Lifestyle, Eat Stop Eat, and even the Adonis Effect is for you to live your life. But, in living your life, these programs and systems have been developed to help you get a specific physiological result, yet STILL be able to do what you want socially.
This is important.
When it comes to fitness and diet advice, you see a lot of demonizing as far as foods and activities are concerned. Eat this, not that… exercise this way, not this way.
No coffee
No alcohol
No meat
No carbs
… all of which can have a profound effect on your social life in general.
Think about it.
If you want to ask the cute girl out for drinks… well, you can’t because you’ll look weird.
A coffee date? Negatory
Hitting a high level dinner discussing a critical point of emphasis with your biggest clients? Pass the carrots please. WTF?!?
Seriously, if you don’t want to drink because you don’t like the way it feels, then that’s cool. But if you’re doing it because you want to drop a few pounds… I’d say you’re crazy because there is – in fact – a way to drink alcohol and lose at the same time.
If you don’t like the way chicken tastes… perfect, don’t eat it – eat something you like.
Here’s the truth: Social pressures determine diet and fitness success MORE than most would believe.
But do you know what the messed up dichotomy of the situation is?
ALMOST EVERYONE I KNOW WORKS OUT, DIETS, RUNS, WALKS, in order to ULTIMATELY increase the amount of core influence they have over other people.
- a man breaks up with a woman… whats the first thing that happens (works out more)
- guy gets bumped around in a elevator, decides he needs to “bulk” up to get respect
- guy talks to woman in bar and gets shut down… well, you get the picture
So, if the whole idea of you working out, dieting, and getting in better shape revolves around you increasing your “gravity”… why in the hell would you engage in activities that would TAKE AWAY from your opportunities to connect with others.
I know this next statement is going to bring the hellfire, but I can say this with absolute conviction and after seeing and talking to literally THOUSANDS of people all across the United States while I co-owned a health club promo company…
… men that make fitness stuff THEIR LIVES, have FAR LESS gravity among their peers than you would imagine.
And, just as my friend Stephen Nash said in his post:
“If meeting, dating or relating with women, and the improvement of this area in life, is your NUMBER 1 priority you are already screwed”
… I’m going to put this out there and let the haters have their field day.
“Unless your goal is to be a PROFESSIONAL in diet, health, or fitness… if this is your NUMBER 1 priority in life, you’re screwed… PERIOD”
You can kiss your social life goodbye.
All that core influence and gravity that you’re looking for:
POOF! Gone in a puff of smoke.
Because you can’t build connections and increase your gravity living like a hermit.
So, in talking about this whole “gravity” deal – and rolling the idea around in my head, I’ve decided that it’s time for VOLUME 2 of the Weapons Of Mass Influence Series to be introduced:
==> “Return Of The High Gravity Male”
Naturally, it’ll be free and I should have it available in the next couple of weeks for you to feast your eyes on.
This report will bridge the gap that a lot of you are looking for and will reveal some of the cool fundamentals about core influence I’ve haphazardly discovered in my life, with 2 or 3 of them NEVER being discussed anywhere else before…
… I think you’ll enjoy it.
But for now, just remember, the role of fitness, like women… isn’t to BE your life.
It’s a part of your life… a part that you work INTO your life and WITH your life.
Not the other way around.
And, as John Barban told Brad Pilon today as I wrote this (great minds think alike, huh? lol):
John Barban: The entire industry is built around teaching people to try and use/manipulate massive lifestyle changes in order to make minute physiological system changes
Brad Pilon: yep
John Barban: In other words, OVERHAUL your life on the outside, in order to try and change a few calories worth of fat burning or a pound or two of muscle building on the inside.
Comments? Clarifications?

Eben Pagen’s has been talking about ‘Gravity’ in this context for at least a year. Just an FYI.
Good… then we’re likely on the right track
Yeah, I teach some of this concept in my Diet and Exercise class. Don’t follow perfectly healthy rules all the time! It’s ridiculous and you get some really unhealthy ideas tossed in there all the time (remember the Adkins diet restricting carbs? For those who don’t know: your BRAIN can’t metabolize fats or proteins! It can only burn carbs! That’s why that diet was such a waste!).
Follow good rules 80% of the time and blow it 20% of the time. It won’t hurt that much and during that 20% of the time you won’t be such a stick in the mud. Go and enjoy yourself!

I like what you said about making women your number 1 priority. Seems as though that’s targeted at the seduction community crowd, I mean, not very many people want to end up like Mystery. This is so true because if you make women so important to you, then you end up subcommunicating you neediness, which of course is really unattractive. Not to take the wind out of anyone’s sails, improving “this area” of your life is important and requires a lot of effort but, like Big Al says, you can’t take yourself too seriously. Am I on the right track here?
@jorge
That’s not my quote, its from Stephan Nash aka Playboy LA… who lived in Project Hollywood (and was in the book “The Game” ).
That’s the messed up part, you make them your priority… and it shows.
Wait ’til my report. Seriously, I’ll lay it all out.
(oh, go read his post… the link is above)
Oh, and by the way… I know almost everyone who’s relevant in the dating/seduction field…
… and if I don’t know them, I will soon.
So I can tell you all of this stuff from both sides of the coin.
@Big Al
You got it.
Wait ’til Pilon’s new “Rule of Sevens” report
Briliant Brad! Seriously great stuff man!
I was once a gym hermit myself and I have lost more friends, girl friends and even jobs becasue of that lifestyle.
Never again.
Now I work in a gym and even though I work here poeple ask me “You’re always in great shape, but I never see you working out. plus you eat nearly anything. What gives?”
Can’t wait for your report Brad.
No longer a gym hermit in VT,
The Fit Rebel
Hey Brad..
Great stuff here and while I know you write from the perspective of a hetero male, make no mistake this stuff works just as well and is just as relevent for gay guys as it is for others.
Not just for Alpha type males or Type A personalities..but all, can benefit.
I have been doing the AI program for 4 weeks now and already I can see a difference in not only how women relate to me but also other men -both hetero and gay – and it is for the better.
The concept of ‘ graviity ‘ as you term it is one that is interesting…and something I have been musing on in my personal experience.
This last weekend I asked a fairly new buddy from the gym for a favour..and his response was ‘ sure thing man, anything for you..’
I have no doubt in my mind that the external changes I am going thru, to balance with my internal perspectives – impacted on his willingness to help me out.
Of course…I would do the same thing for him…the focus here is not on always on the getting..it is on the giving..which ironically makes you more attractive and respected by all.
Looking forward to more from you..
Brad
@Brad (not me… lol)
Yeah, Adonis works on both sexes. I just heard a helluva testimonial last night on Facebook and we’re gonna podcast it…
… you won’t believe your ears.
@Matt
I loved working in health clubs, dude. If you’re in the right club, doors open for you in all aspects and the networking is killer.
Hey Brad,
Yeah, I’m one of those guys that is anti-caffeine/anti-alcohol. Well, at least for the time being. I’ve got alcohol on hold for the next six months – let’s just say booze wasn’t doing me any favors in terms of my ‘gravity.’ Ha!
I enjoyed the first installment of your Weapons series and am looking forward to what’s in the second. As for putting all eggs in one basket, well, as the saying goes, DON’T DO IT! Ha. I’d love to get more stories on how being ultra focused is such a bad idea. The more the better.
@Ryan
I hear ya. I had a rough time with alcohol a few years ago when I was in a bad spot in life…
… did the same thing to me. Now, I only drink for fun. Not stress relief or to forget about problems.
As far as being ultra focused is concerned.
Focus is fine.
AS LONG AS YOU’RE AIMING AT THE GOAL YOU WANT!
For most people, the overall goal ISN’T necessarily to be in shape, it’s the perceived BENEFITS that they’ll get when they are in shape, and a virile social life with chicks falling off of them is generally included in those benefits… LMAO!
So if that’s the real goal, why do things that keep you from that?
Once you understand your overall goal, it’s easy to conform the achievement of your goal to your life.
Thanks Brad.
Yes, I agree. My big goal is becoming more clear the more I check off my daily goals. That sense of accomplishment feeds my confidence. I can feel it little by little everyday. And that energy kinda propels me through the next day and that to the next. Ha! It makes me feel giddy actually – like I’m a little kid again or something.
Thanks for all of your work in this area. There aren’t enough qualified guys doing this kind of work that I can relate to … so much appreciated!
what kind of this site?icannot understand it .please inform me details.thanks

Brad (which Brad is this, I wonder?):
I think this was a simply awesome article, and kudos!
ESE, actually, keeps me on track because I don’t act like a weirdo when I eat out.
While most people don’t realise it, an evening out can be a calorie WMD- last night, for example, I had 3 large Jacks and a Chinese buffet dinner, where I would have consumed no less than 2000 calories (there was a b’day cake, too). Taking an entire day’s intake, one could be looking at 5000-6000 calories, which simply cannot be good for your fat loss program, unless you have the balance that IF confers. Thanks.
@Rambodoc
Brad H … although Brad Pilon is chiming in more and more these days
Heya Brad! You’re on the point of reinventing the word “gravitas”.
My quick value-add to the discussion is to drop the graviatas on y’all.
It’s a great little piece of Latin that finds its way occasionally into the English usage like “quid pro quo” and “fuggetaboudit”.
It’s that quality that separates a great actor from a movie star. Some movie stars aren’t even great actors… yet we want to sit in a dark room for 2 hours and just stare at them because they’ve got that magnetic pull, that gravitas.
Does anyone really think Sean Connery can act? But we love him in Bond anyway. Brad Pitt’s a very good actor, and lord knows he’s got that Adonis index going on… but he commands the box office because he’s got gravitas.
By the way, Eben Pagan’s got it too.
It comes from something that most men don’t have and that is very hard to cultivate (though hitting the gym definitely helps!)… and that thing is “absolute self trust”.
yeah iam on the right tract and self trust, hitting the gym tuesday and thursday. controlling my social life from alcohol, smoking etc and eating heathly along with a multivatmain.
?? ?????? ???????? ??????????, ??? ?? ????, ?????????? ????? ??? ??? ?????????
Is the report out yet?
Ryan,
Which report are you referring to?
JB
Hey Ryan,
Nope, not out yet. Still working on it.

I will be away on business are they able to deliver to a P.O. Box?
